Sy naam is eintlik Maxwell Windt… ‘n gebore voorloper.
En was jy nie… jy het vir alles en almal kans gesien.
Jy was ons oppasser en verseker ons beskermer teen
Enigiets of iemand wat ons as familie sou bedreig.
Jy het ons tog so vermaak met jou koddige stappie en skewe tandjies.
Jou donker oë het altyd tot diep in ons harte ingezoom.
En wanneer een van ons gehuil het, het jy altyd kom loer en styf kom
Lê teen die een wie dit nodig gehad het.
Ons gaan jou mis, maar ons sal jou altyd in ons harte dra.
