On 27 August 2023 you left Mommy and your life on earth.  I always refused to believe you would leave me any time soon, because the thought of losing you was completely intolerable.

You were love incarnate on four legs, the embodiment of everything good, and kind.  Fourteen years, based on pure love, trust, and companionship, I raised you, cared for you, trained you, pampered you, slept next to you, and we strolled kilometers.

We developed an unspoken understanding. You were a dream little princess and I miss you soooooooooo much.

Choosing you was one of the best decisions of my life.  Every second of the fourteen years was awesome and filled with sooooo much love, fun and joy.  The only hard times were when you got sick and Mommy begging to keep you alive as long as possible, close to my heart.  You were such a brave little girl…you fought against parvo virus as baby and then liver and pancreas cancer, a tumor on your spleen and a leaking heart valve, that ruined your beautiful velvet little body.

I loved you every second for your whole life and I’ll miss you dearly for the rest of mine.  Saying goodbye was immensely painful and traumatic!  There will always be an emptiness in my heart. I loved you sooooo much and thank you for all the love and joy you gave.  You were my baby and we were the best friends in the world.

I look forward to the day I find you and can hold you once again close to my heart in my arms and showering you with lots of love and kisses.  I promise that I’ll never leave you again, and we can spend the rest of our eternal lives together.  

We were together until the last second.  You were in sooooo much pain and your little body had no blood plates, that’s why I had to do the unthinkable!  It was the hardest thing I ever had to to do. I mourned and petted you for a while in utter and severe shock.  A part of my soul had been taken away. You were my loving and loyal friend till the end. Your gentle and unconditional love is sooooo missed and will never be forgotten. My precious, sweet velvet princess, you took with you a big piece of my heart.

I can never return the light you brought to my life, but I shall remain grateful to our HEAVENLY FATHER that blessed me sooooooo abundantly to have been part of yours.  You will live in my mind and heart for ever, with deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude, for all you gave to me.

I miss you deeply, and I hurt, for loving you. My heart is sooooo heavy and I hope you know that I love you, and did not want you to suffer anymore.  The house is sooooo empty without you.

Your little body had battled enough and for soooooo long. You couldn’t walk any longer, and you kept falling over.  I wish I could find some beautiful words to say what is really living in my broken heart.  I did not want to let you go but your body were bleeding internally.

You rest now and play in heaven frolickimg with my dearest Mommy and Chloé.

I will love you forever and ever, my precious little soul mate.

Rest in peace now, and may the light of a beautiful sunny day always shine upon your sweet and gorgeous little gentle face.
