Hoog bo in die Hondehemel
sal jy nou gaan bly,
Jy sal hardloop deur die velde,
saam honde net soos jy…
Jou stem sal ons hoor
as die winde so waai,
Ons sal jou nog sien
as jy jou stert so swaai…
Rus sag my ou honne
jou siel is nou vry,
want in die mooiste Hondehemel
Gaan jy nou bly.
Rus sag ons baba-beer. Dankie vir al die saam gesels en speel, vir al die gate wat jy deur die jare gegrawe het. Dankie vir jou mooi persoonlikheid en onvoorwaardelike liefde. Jy het elke mens wie die voorreg gehad het om jou te kon ontmoet se lewe geraak. Jy laat ñ groot gat in ons gesin agter.
Tot ons weer ontmoet. Rus sag ons baba-beer.
