Your shedding in and around the house was your way of making sure we never forget you. But little did you know, you left paw prints forever in our hearts.

You were our best friend, loyal, beautiful, loveable, intelligent, adorable, sweet, friendly and protective… In so many words the perfect companion. 

Our road trips, visits to the park, fishing, braais, movie nights, neighbourhood walks… Our lives would never be the same without you.

The house feels empty, the days feel long, coming home is never the same. Nobody’s guarding, no good morning or good night, no kisses or hugs.

You gave us your best, I watched you and Chicky grow from fiesty little puppies with fluffy paws into the most beautiful German Shepherds. Thank you for holding on a bit longer to make sure I was ok.

Now you and Chico can play, until the rest of your family members join you in a better place.

We say goodbye to you for a moment in time, only to meet again for eternity in Heaven, where there shall be no more tears, no pain, no suffering and sadness, only happiness, joy, peace and hopefully plenty of KFC for you to enjoy!

Gone, but NEVER forgotten. We love you Baby Girl, our Cleopatra. Rest in peace Poppadum.
