Happi and Bilbo,

Happi, you were my soulmate who went through my hard times and some good times.  You were there for me when nobody else could be. You knew when I was happy and you knew when I was sad.  You left a void in my heart that nobody and nothing can fill.  I loved you my boy, but I was left with the misfortune of doing what is best for you when you were no longer able to see, hear and your organs started failing.  I will never regret letting you go while I held you and within seconds you fell into your permanent sleep and left for the rainbow bridge.  A part of my heart went with you.  Bilbo missed you terribly.

Bilbo, my beautiful boy, you were so brave throughout your life.  You faced all your ops with real bravado.  You were such an intelligent and somewhat fragile little boy.  You whined from the day we collected you, until the day I had to sadly let you go.  We are all missing that whine and Squire is also missing you terribly.  I also will not regret letting you go my boy.  I had to do what was right for you.  I could no longer prolong the inevitable.  I bought you as much time as I possibly could.  Goodbye my angel and now you can play with Happi on the rainbow bridge.
