IN LOVING MEMORY OF IRIS
25 August 2011 – 3 June 2022
To my darling Iris,
You came into my life when I was 25. I was starting out in life, finding my feet as an adult and you were there every step of the way. We almost made it to 11 years together- that’s a long time to make incredible memories and I could write volumes about you and our life together.
You were the closest to a slice of heaven I will ever get, because you were phenomenal in every way. You were smart, sweet, kind, tolerant and beyond beautiful. You were my shadow- if I moved, you were right behind me and always stayed close. You always greeted me with your ears folded back and an actual grin on your face.
I will miss the way you would dip your head when I took a photo with you, so many of our selfies are of me holding you under your chin- that always made me laugh.
To say I loved you and still love you is an understatement, because one word cannot possibly describe how you hold my heart. Thank you for choosing me and allowing me the privilege of loving you. I will miss you forever my gorgeous Dobergirl and it’s not goodbye, but see you later.
I love you forever.
