2007 – 2022

My sweet girl,

I am still in disbelief that you are gone, you are remembered though everything we do.
Your pain is now gone but ours has just begun, no amount of time can ease the heartbreak of losing you.

You were so little when we first met you, we had to put on a collar with a bell so we would know where you always were but as you grew, I no longer had to look for you because you were always just beside me or behind me. I still feel your presence, I know you are around, and that is my greatest comfort.
My biggest mistake was thinking you were always going to be around, you were just that strong, always pushing through and fighting to be with your family and when the time finally came it was me who fell weak, it was me who could not tell you it was okay to leave but your eyes reassured me that it was going to be okay, that you were too tired to fight one last time. I know you are at peace now baby and I know one day we will find peace as well but for now we are going to use the beautiful memories you left us with to guide us to feeling okay again.

We love you so much my Cuddly, we cannot wait to meet you again!
