Ons geliefde Faff 
Vandag sê ons met baie seer harte totsiens aan ons kosbare Faff.
Jy was nie net ’n hondjie nie, jy was deel van ons familie en het ’n baie spesiale plekkie in ons harte gehad. Ons sal altyd onthou hoe jy saam met Ouma koffie gedrink het en hoe jy, as jy iets van die tafel wou hê, altyd geblaf en op jou agterpootjies gestaan het.
Jy was so liefdevol teenoor die kinders en het altyd jou sagte, liefdevolle hart gewys. Jy was getrou op jou bedjie, waar jy rustig gelê en slaap het, maar jy was ook altyd wakker en op jou hoede. Veral wanneer daar iemand by die hek was — dan het jy gesorg dat almal weet jy is daar en dat jy jou mense beskerm.
Faff, dankie vir elke drukkie, elke blaf, elke wag by die hek en elke kosbare herinnering. Ons harte is stukkend, maar ons is so dankbaar dat ons jou kon liefhê. Faff, jy is vir altyd in ons harte. Mag jy nou vry wees, lekker speel en hardloop in die hondehemel, en net so liefdevol bly soos wat jy altyd hier op aarde was.
Ons sal jou nooit vergeet nie, ons klein Faff.
Tot ons mekaar weer sien…
