IN LOVING MEMORY OF XENA

28 June 2019 – 9 October 2025

Xena,

It’s so hard to write this, but I wanted to tell you how much you meant to me. The house is so quiet without the sound of your paws on the floor, your excited snorts, and the happy thump of your tail against the furniture. Every day, I expect to see your smiling face, and for a moment, I forget that you’re not here anymore.

You were so much more than just a dog. You were my shadow, my protector, and my constant companion. Your big, tough bully exterior hid the gentlest and most loving heart. You proved to everyone who ever had a misconception about your breed that the biggest muscle you had was in your chest, and you showed it with every lick and cuddle.

I will never forget our walks, your hilarious zoomies in the yard, and how you would always manage to find a sunbeam to nap in. You were my rock and my source of unconditional love, and I am so grateful for every single moment we had together.

The grief I feel is a testament to how much I loved you, and how much joy you brought into my life. But I know that your pain is gone now, and that you are free to run and play across the Rainbow Bridge.

You left a huge paw print on my heart, and you will forever a part of me. Thank you, my sweet Xena, for everything.

Until we meet again
