BOLT ZAFIRIS
Message
IN MEMORY OF BOLT
Bolt was a Siberian Husky from Edenvale
12 March 2012 – 6 September 2026
~You Don’t Just Lose A Dog Once~
“You lose them over & over,
sometimes many times a day.
When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
& attacks you from behind.
Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.
Again.
You don’t just lose a dog once,
you lose them every time you open your eyes to a new dawn,
& as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.
Again.
You don’t just lose a dog once,
you lose them every day,
for a lifetime.”
*Poem by Donna Ashworth*
It broke our hearts to lose you. You left us beautiful memories & although we cannot see you, you will always be at our side!
Our heartfelt condolences to the Zafiris family.
