DEXTER ARMSTRONG
Message
IN MEMORY OF DEXTER
Dexter was a Labrador Retriever from Pretoria
2012 – 25 September 2026
~His Day Is Done~
“His day is done.
The news came on the wings of a wind, reluctant to carry its burden.
The news, expected & still unwelcome, reached us & suddenly our world became sombre.
Dexter’s day is done, we confess it in tearful voices, yet we lift our own to say thank you.
Thank you, our great courageous dog.
We will not forget you; we will remember & be glad that you lived among us, & that you loved us all.”
*Poem by Dr. Maya Angelou*
Dexter, you were a loyal friend & family member. You were our protector, play mate & joker. You could mend broken hearts & flooded us with love. We will never forget you!
Our heartfelt condolences to the Armstrong family.
